Those arrested today are members of the gang led by Manoj Pun, whom police suspected that might have planned the murder. Pun, however, is said to be abroad for last nine months. The bike was impounded from Kanchhi Bazaar of Manigram, around three kilometres south-west of the incident site. A preliminary police investigation suggested that Tiwari was killed over some personal rivalry. Pun, whom police have suspected as the mastermind, was also a former YAN leader.
