In the ninth issue of Kalam magazine, which is the representative magazine of progressive literature, I have tried to make a short attempt to explore the history and to deduce the tendencies of progressive song writing and music in the article entitled, ‘People’s songs, history and present age of Nepal.’ In that article, the history and tendencies only up to B.S. 2051 (1995) were mentioned. After that, one decade has already passed. The most important aspect is that the great people’s war started in B.S. 2052 (1996) and it has been carried out already for a decade long. This article is the continuation of the previous one and is the latest version.
